A Hostel Clearance Certificate confirms that a student is no longer a boarder of their allotted hostel seat. It is required when obtaining the course-completion and migration certificates.

- The Hostel Clearance Certificate certifies that the student is no longer a boarder of his/her allotted hostel seat.
- A student who has been allotted a seat in the hostel and has left the hostel but has not obtained this certificate from the Hostel Superintendent is considered liable for any damage to the hostel properties (allotted to him/her) done in his/her absence by any unknown person.
- Submission of the Hostel Clearance Certificate is mandatory for obtaining the course-completion certificate and the migration certificate.
Documents Required
The following documents must be submitted for the Hostel Clearance Certificate:
- Application to the Hostel Superintendent for hostel clearance.
- The original hostel allotment certificate.
- The hostel fee clearance receipt from the accounts office.
- A signed declaration from the roommate that the applicant has not caused any damage to the allotted room, furniture, plumbing, electrical setups, etc.
