Location
There are two different campuses in Jhargram Government Medical College & Hospital. The old Super Speciality Hospital campus is located in Ghoradhara, Main Road (Jhargram), near Jhargram Railway Station. The new Jhargram Government Medical College campus is located in Vidyasagarpally, Old Jhargram, near Jhargram Bus-stand. Being located in the centre of Jhargram district and well connected with the rest of the district by a good public transport system, this medical college & hospital serves a large population of 11,36,548 (Census 2011) of Jhargram district.

- OT Service – Operations are done under the departments of General Surgery, Gynae & Obstetrics, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, ENT and Dentistry.
- Critical Care Unit – a CCU with 12 beds is available.
